These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StockSignal service operated by Core Logic LLC ("we", "us", or "our") at usestocksignal.com. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

StockSignal is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) inventory alert tool for Square merchants. The service connects to your Square account via the Square API to monitor your inventory levels and send you alerts when stock reaches thresholds you configure. StockSignal helps you stay informed about your inventory status so you can make timely restocking decisions.

2. Account Registration

To use StockSignal, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Authorize StockSignal to access your Square account data via OAuth

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@usestocksignal.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required to start your trial. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before your trial ends, your account will be downgraded and alert functionality will be suspended.

Paid Subscription

After your free trial, the StockSignal service is available for $4.99 per month. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing your payment information, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Price Changes

We may change our subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service except through our published API
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the service

5. Intellectual Property

The StockSignal service, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by StockSignal and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your business purposes. You retain ownership of your Square inventory data.

6. Account Termination

By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@usestocksignal.com. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on what happens after cancellation.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
  • Fail to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice
  • Engage in activity that harms other users or the service

We will provide reasonable notice before termination where possible, except in cases of serious violations. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer

StockSignal is an inventory monitoring and alerting tool. It does not provide financial, investment, or business advice. The service presents data from your Square account and generates alerts based on thresholds you set. Any decisions you make regarding inventory purchasing, restocking, or business operations are solely your responsibility.

We are not responsible for:

  • Inventory decisions you make based on our alerts
  • Missed alerts due to connectivity issues, Square API outages, or service downtime
  • Inaccuracies in data sourced from your Square account
  • Financial losses arising from your use of or reliance on the service

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StockSignal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StockSignal from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and sending an email notification to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
