Payment Information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. Stripe collects and processes your payment information in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive only a tokenized reference, card brand, last four digits, and billing address from Stripe for transaction records.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use our service, including:

  • Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the application
  • Device type, browser type, operating system, and screen resolution
  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Date and time of access, session duration, and referring URLs

  • Stripe: We share necessary billing and transaction information with Stripe to process your subscription payments. Stripe acts as a data processor and handles your payment data under their own privacy policy.
  • Square API: We access your Square account data through the Square API using OAuth tokens you authorize. We do not share your Square data with any other third parties.
  • Analytics providers: We may use third-party analytics services that collect anonymized or aggregated usage data to help us understand how our service is used.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after account deletion to allow for recovery
  • Square inventory data: Synced in real-time and not stored long-term; historical alert data is retained for up to 12 months
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required for tax and accounting compliance
  • Usage analytics: Retained in anonymized or aggregated form for up to 24 months

After the applicable retention period, we securely delete or anonymize your data.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
